Olympian Victoria Pendleton to attend Memjet launch event

Olympic gold medallist to demonstrate Memjet technology at UK launch in London.

An event to mark the UK launch of Memjet is to be attended by Olympic track cyclist champion Victoria Pendleton, who will demonstrate the speed of Memjet’s technology.

The invitation-only event, which will take place on 16 October in London, will also feature a number of demos and a keynote speech from Bill McGlynn, President of Memjet Home and Office, and will mark the technology’s introduction to the European market.

The company’s EvoJet machines, manufactured by Lomond, will be distributed in the UK by aftermarket company CompaTech UK. CompaTech held the first event last year to advertise the new machine, which has already seen a second and third model announced.

Cocktails and canapés will be served to guests, and there will be the opportunity to have photographs taken with Victoria Pendleton, who won a gold and a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic games this summer.
